DESIGNING PATH OF A MASTERPIECE


The Studio Quadrifoglio Associated Architects, active since 1981 in Vicenza, was founded by the architects Gianni Menguzzato and Claudio Nascimben and lays its foundations on the philosophy of balance. The design as all-accomplished subject requires the exact balance between form, function and material, the stranded thread where the designer must walk to achieve the target of creating really perfect objects, attractive yet functional.

This balance game mixes objects and systems, playing with shapes and finctions: the designer’s ability distils what needed to reach the result, which is not said to become what had been thought, because sometimes the path diverts towards unexpected roads.

The experience in the industrial design field of the designers Menguzzato and Nascimben has been tied throughout time to several brands in the furnishing world such as Casamania, Frezza, Caimi Brevetti, Creando, Cattelan Italia, Calligaris, Midj, Fernova, Sami-imas, Doimo, just to name a few.

The exchange of ideas and projects between designers and brand remains topical to stay in tune with the general guidelines, however with full freedom in the creation and design.

From the sketch to the model, the Studio Quadrifoglio remains in close contact with the customer, who follows the realization in every step.

Design means project: under every point of view, from conceiving objects and systems, playing with forms and functions, to reach the synthesis of the final product, that brings advantages to all the parties involved – manufacturer, retailer, final customer – and why not, even a pinch of happiness.
