DESIGNING PATH OF A MASTERPIECE

The landscape of the industrial design has much changed in the last decade. It is like a typhoon has blown this profession, re-drawing its outlines and renewing its most relevant characteristics.

Turn-over, new arrivals, the outbreak of yet unseen phenomena, in these last ten years the design has completely innovated. The departure of the design masters induced to think it was dead, indeed new designers have come to the fore and among these Marco Pocci and Claudio Dondoli, aka Studio Archirivolto.

For the previous generation design was a sort of mission, while today we try to create a valuable product of high design and class, but using inexpensive materials that make every item a democratic product.

The Studio Archirivolto chairs have become a social and fashion event, because when you can buy a branded product without paying through the nose, the competitors may panic.

The world expansion of the Italian manufacturer Pedrali has changed the conditions of design-system and has offered the customers a series of fashion products at an extremely convenient price, in the picture.

On the other hand the philosophy of our studio leads us to conceive products that feature a more contained developing process than in the past, never renouncing the high quality.

The Studio Archirivolto also considers the architecture as important, with the same philosophy of "beauty for everyone", this part of our work is now developed with foreign partners. A Swedish private dwelling where our philosophy is fully witnessed, just as in some factories and buildings we planned in the Far East.

The Studio took also an active part in many exhibition stand and showroom set ups.
